As of March 2010 construction was completed for a 12,000 square foot new training facility on approximately 4 acres of land donated by the Town of Ingersoll. With an eye to training students for work in the electrical utilities powerline field, the centre will also focus on a number of program areas related to the energy field and the skilled trades programs that complement the industry. This is the only facility offering such training in Southwestern Ontario.

This project was funded by the federal government through a Community Adjustment Fund (CAF) grant.
