
Construction was completed in December 2010 for the new Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (HRAC) Training Centre. This is a 10,000 square foot one-storey addition to the main building at the Waterloo campus for approximately 50 students. It is anticipated to be Ontario’s most advanced HRAC skills training centre with a focus on providing the most innovative internal and external training environments in Ontario.
The HRAC Training Centre is a Knowledge Infrastructure Program (KIP) project with contributions from the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada.
As of March 2010 construction was completed for the new roofing training centre located on the Waterloo campus. It is 10,000 square foot one-storey free standing building with a mezzanine. The Ontario Industrial Roofing Contractors Association (OIRCA) partnered with Conestoga to build this training centre focused on providing the most innovative internal and external training environments in Ontario. The new roofing centre will serve industry by enhancing its base of qualified/highly trained professionals and the Ontario public by providing skilled professionals to put a well constructed and safely designed roof over their heads.
