On-Line Ordering

In Store Pick Up Option

Orders placed during regular business hours (Monday 8:00am - Friday 4:00pm) for "in-store pickup" require at least 1 business day to be completed and ready for pickup. Please bring some form of photo ID with you (i.e. student card or drivers licence). Pick up hours will be from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.

Orders placed between Friday 4:00pm and Monday 8:00am will be available for pick up on Tuesday during posted pick up hours (1:00pm – 3:00pm). *Please allow an additional day for pickup in the case of a holiday.

Delivery

The Campus Bookstore uses Purolator Courier; a signature is required upon delivery unless specified otherwise in the notes section of the online order form.

Please provide a complete street address with street number and street name (concession/side road). P.O. Box numbers and Rural Route numbers are not sufficient - please include a street name and number as well for rural addresses, otherwise the delivery person will not be able to locate your home.

If your order is being delivered within Ontario, you can expect to receive your order within 2 - 4 business days. For orders outside of Ontario, delivery times vary. Please contact the Conestoga Bookstore at bookstore@conestogac.on.ca if you think your order may have been delayed.

Used Textbooks

Used textbooks are not available for online ordering. Used textbooks are available in-store for purchase on a first come, first serve basis.

Return Information

Items ordered online can be returned for a refund either via mail or in person. Items returned must be in original condition (including shrink-wrap if applicable) and accompanied by the original receipt. If mailing the item back to us, please include a your name, contact information and a reason for returning the item. The method of payment used to place the original order will be the method used to refund the item. Once we receive the item back and it has been approved for a refund, you will receive a phone call or email stating that the refund has been completed. Our mailing address is:

How to place an Online Order

There are two ways to order your textbooks online:

1. After July 18th you can log into the Student Portal via the College Website and follow these easy steps to generate a booklist/online order based on your course registration.
   • Select the Services Tab
   • Select Bookstore
   • Select Order Textbooks
   • Select Search for Textbooks
2. From this Website
   • First you will need your course code(s) ie. MGMT1040
   • From the Conestoga Bookstore homepage, click on the Textbooks link in the menu of the left of the page.
   • Choose the term you are in from the list provided by clicking on that term.
   • Scroll through the course codes listed in numerical order and click on one or more of the courses you are taking.
   • Once you have found all courses you are taking or interested in, please click 'Search'.
   • All courses chosen will now appear in a window that will provide you with more detailed information such as retail price, author and availability.

How do I make a purchase?

• Upon review of the items you have chosen to search, you can decide to purchase individually by clicking 'Buy' alternatively you can purchase all of the books by clicking on 'Buy All' at the bottom of the page.
• Your basket containing all items you wish to purchase will now appear. Your total before tax will be shown to you. You still have an opportunity to remove any items if necessary.
• Click on 'Checkout' once you are ready to complete your order.
• The Checkout screen will detail your order including taxes.
• Choose your method of payment ie. Credit Card or In-store Pickup
• You will be asked to either login or create an account.
• Once all required fields have been completed click on 'Submit Order'.

Is it safe to order books online?

The protection of your personal information was our number one goal. Credit card information is processed on a secure server. One of today's most advanced security systems encrypts your credit card information before sending it to our main server where your information is decrypted. Please refer to 'About this Site' for more detailed information.

What if I can't find my books online?

Upon reviewing all course codes available and you are certain your the code is correct, you can notify us by email at bookstore@conestogac.on.ca or simply call us at 519-748-5220 ext. 3241. We will respond to your request promptly.

What should I do if I get an error?

At any time, if you encounter problems using our web site please let us know immediately, providing us with the following information:

• Description of the problem
• Date and Time the problem occurred
• What browser and version you were using (ie. Safari 4, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3)

How do cookies work? Why do I need to enable them?

A cookie is a small file that is placed on your computer and contains unique transaction information - NOT your payment information. The e-commerce section of our website uses cookies in order to save your shopping basket and other personal information so that upon your next visit, you don't need to re-enter this same information. If you disable cookies in your browser, you will not be able to make a purchase, but will still be able to browse our entire site. Please refer to 'About This Site' for more information.
