Part-time Courses - Areas of Study

PSW to PN Bridge

Completion of these bridging courses allows PSWs to enter the second year (3rd semester) of the Practical Nursing (PN) program. They are offered on a part-time basis (typically one day per week) to allow PSW's to continue working while completing the courses.

The courses are to be taken in a specific order and students can begin taking the courses in either September or January. Entry to the bridging courses requires a PSW certificate, as well as meeting other academic requirements of the PN program in English, Biology and Chemistry or Physics or a General Science.
