Prepare for your co-op work term

The Co-op Department can help you develop the tools you need to find your work term, including:

  • Assistance with job search strategy, interview preparation and resume and cover letter writing
  • Posting work term employment opportunities on MyCareer
  • Evaluating potential workplaces as suitable for co-op work terms
  • Coaching and advising you on the labour market

Expectations of a co-op student

As a co-op student, you are expected to:

  • Complete between one and four work terms, depending on your program
  • Submit job applications and attend job interviews as part of your search
  • Work full-time while on your work term and study full-time while at Conestoga
