Protection of Human Rights

Conestoga College is committed to providing a learning environment that is free of discrimination and harassment based on race, ancestry, place of origin, color, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, gender, sexual orientation, handicap, age, marital status, same-sex partnership, family status, receipt of public assistance and/or record of offences.

Students who believe they have been harassed or discriminated against on these grounds, may seek advice from a counsellor by making an appointment. Counsellors can provide assistance to a student if he/she is unable to talk directly with the other party or is unsure how to make an approach. To learn about the policy in greater detail consult your Student Procedures Guide.
