Specialized Populations
Counselling Services provide support to all students in eligible programs, including those who constitute special populations that have unique and distinct concerns. Certainly every student is an individual and has their own set of challenges, resources and characteristics, however there are shared realities and experiences that occur as a result of being identified with a particular group or categorization, such as those listed below. The staff of Counselling Services recognizes that students with differing backgrounds may experience very individualized challenges and as such, we strive to maintain our knowledge and experience with these issues in an effort to better serve those needs.
