Turn Diplomas Into Degrees

Diploma to Degree. Bridging and Transfer Opportunities

Want to turn your diploma into a degree?

Students who have completed a diploma program (at Conestoga or another Ontario college) may be eligible to bridge or transfer into the final years of a related Bachelor degree program at Conestoga. For a complete list of Diploma to Degrees visit Diploma to Degree List.

Accepted students may be required to take a bridging module that bridges the gap between the diploma and the degree program or complete a select number of courses prior to entry.

If you are interested in earning another credential at Conestoga or want to have your courses previously taken here or at another college assessed, contact the Transfer Credit Officer at Conestoga located in the Registrar’s office 519-748-5220 ext 3656. For information about credit transfer opportunities at other Ontario colleges and universities, visit Ontransfer.ca

Advanced Standing. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Opportunities for advanced standing and recognition of prior learning are available. Conestoga recognizes prior learning of skills, knowledge, or competencies that have been acquired through work, formal, and non-formal education or training, experiential learning, or self-study.

Applicants with previous post-secondary education will be assessed on an individual basis in accordance with College and Ministry guidelines/policies for advanced standing.

For more information, contact the Degree Program Chair or Coordinator.

Other Degree Pathways. Articulation Agreements

Articulation agreements between Conestoga College and other post-secondary institutions are designed to allow our students to study at another institution, usually in the pursuit of a degree or other academic credential. These arrangements provide our students with opportunities to study elsewhere, and in some cases to enjoy a cultural experience different from what they are used to. For more information, visit Transfer Opportunities.

University Visit Schedule

From time to time, representatives from various universities will visit Conestoga to provide our students with opportunities to learn more about their schools and their articulation pathways with Conestoga. For more information, visit University Visits.
