Description: This course is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the financial management of condominium corporations. Topics include: the accounting process, financial administration, General ledger and coding, financial statements, presenting financial statements to the Board, understanding and preparing budgets, reserve funds, the audit, investing and borrowing. Knowledge of Excel and Word required.

Description: This course covers all aspects of the law and documents that govern condominiums, with emphasis placed on the Condominium Act, 1998. Related governance documents, including Declarations, by-laws and rules will be covered, as well as how and when to use lawyers and other professionals. You will learn how to discuss and explain documentation and find information. Other legislation affecting condominiums will also be discussed.
