Program Details

Credential: 4-Year Bachelor of Community and Criminal Justice (Honours)

This four-year Bachelor degree program prepares students with the broad capabilities required for careers within the community and criminal justice systems while focusing on the analytical skills to comprehend the psycho-social causes and effects of crime.

Students develop the ability to analyze how individuals develop and respond to the realities of their unique social context and the ability to evaluate the various responses within the community and society to prevent and respond to crime.

Graduates will be ready to research, initiate, implement, and evaluate social policy and programs and are well prepared to exercise leadership within criminal justice services with strong problem solving, systemic/critical thinking, inter-personal and inter-professional communication skills.

Conestoga College facilitates recruitment on an ongoing basis - there are no hard deadlines. Typical time frames for work terms are listed below.

Postings are accepted beginning four months before the start of a term until all students have secured employment provided the minimum 12 consecutive weeks of full-time work is met.
