- Ed Hayes Award Best Feature Photo
- Hayes was a former executive editor of the Kitchener-Waterloo Record. Features may include stories or a series of stories from any section of the newspaper. However, first-person stories are not eligible.

- Janét Aizenstros Scholarships
- Janét started this scholarship fund as a way of giving back to her community. She understands the importance of education and what it is like for young people who want to make the jump into higher learning, but due to circumstances are unable to pursue higher education. Janét believes students should be able to focus on academics, be involved in their community, as well as engage in creative outlets while pursuing higher education.

- K. A. MacKenzie Memorial Fund
- This bursary recognizes a Videography-Broadcast Journalism/Documentary student with exceptional technical skills in videography. The winner will have demonstrated superior creative and technical competence while shooting and editing news items.

- Ken Mackenzie Memorial Award
- The Ken Mackenzie Memorial Award is awarded in memory of the late Ken MacKenzie, who was a member of the Broadcasting, Radio and Television Program faculty and staff from 1969-1978. This award is presented annually to a full-time student in the Broadcasting, Radio and Television program to encourage innovative use of technology in production of radio or television programming.

- myturntointern Award
- In the 2015/2016 school year, Professor Barrett immersed herself in her field in the perfect role reversal. It was her turn to become a 'senior' intern, as she completed a year-long professional development leave to update her skills through a series of PR internships with her grads. She received the 2016 Conestoga College Innovation Award in recognition of this professional development project and its impact on the college, the community and Conestoga PR students. Through ongoing internships and industry projects, Professor Barrett is now giving back to her students by recognizing those who have been exceptional in their own internship placement. - Rae Murphy Memorial Award
- This award is in memory of Rae Murphy, who taught journalism at Conestoga for more than 20 years. This is awarded to a student entering the second year of the Journalism program who demonstrates the spirit of inquiry and passion that Rae exemplified and that he sought to impart to his students and co-workers. No entries are required for this award, as the winner will be chosen based on his or her passion and overall quality of work in the newswriting and research and interviewing courses.

- Switch VFX & Animation are offering this scholarship to recognize a student who shows initiative and potential in the well roundedness of their overall animation talent. The award recipient will have an opportunity to showcase their work on Switch VFX & Animation’s website and through the Switch social media platforms.
