Program description - September 2024

Are you considering a career as a plumber? Are you interested in developing the skills you need to secure an apprenticeship? Want to learn from licensed men and women who are passionate about their trade and eager to teach you? If so, then the Plumbing Techniques program may be right for you.

In this program, you will learn about residential, commercial, and industrial applications in the plumbing industry with a focus on residential plumbing. You will gain an understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of the trade, associated tools and materials, that will help you on your journey to becoming a licensed plumber or pursuing many other construction-related careers.

You will be taught hands-on skills in the large, fully-equipped, dedicated plumbing shop in Conestoga's new Skills Trades Centre. This new state-of-the-art campus offers all the services and supports you need to have a great college experience.

As a graduate, you will be in-demand as the need for skilled tradespeople in the construction sector is at an all time high and plumbers will always play a critical role in ensuring safe water and waste management systems. Come join us and take that first step to a well-paying, stable and rewarding career!
