Program description - September 2024

Are you looking for a rewarding career in the automotive repair industry? Let our professionals expose you to their expertise and knowledge of the automotive trade. Offering over 20,000 square feet of shop space, Conestoga will provide you with the skills to be job ready as you enter this high demand trade. This two-year program provides Level 1 and 2 apprenticeship training equivalencies with an emphasis on hands-on learning. In the second year of the program, you will delve deeper into related topics such as electric hybrids, failure analysis, and electrical diagnostics and repair. To broaden your knowledge and experience, we will introduce you to alternative careers within the automotive industry such as: business development, customer service, and shop and parts management. As a successful graduate, you will have the opportunity to receive exemption from the Level 1 and 2 portions of the Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship in-school training.
