
Analyses of IELTS results include such matters as the accuracy of clerical procedures, the internal reliability of the modules and the reliability of subjective marking. IELTS markers and examiners must meet the Code of Practice qualification requirements. Reliability of marking is assured through testing, certification and continuous monitoring of examiners.
Any further enquiries regarding your test results must be referred to The British Council in the United Kingdom .
A candidate may apply for an Enquiry on Results, which is a review of the individual and/or final score received on the Test Report Form. All enquiries must be made by the Conestoga College IELTS Administrator to The British Council. This request must be made within six weeks of the test date on the Test Report Form.
You will need to complete the Enquiry on Results Form and include the following:
The request for review will be forwarded by the Conestoga College IELTS Test Centre to The British Council. The British Council will notify the IELTS Test Centre of the remark within 6-8 weeks of receipt of the candidate's test materials. The IELTS Test Centre will send a letter to the candidate, along with the final score as marked by The British Council. Please note that the EOR process could take up to 10-12 weeks from the time the test centre receives the EOR request.
The Enquiry on Results Form and attachments must be sent to the IELTS Administrator at the Test Centre where you wrote your IELTS test.
