Test Schedule

The IELTS Handbook indicates that the total test time is 2 hours, 45 minutes. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the Listening, Reading and Writing modules administered during the morning - usually concluding at 12:30 p.m.

The Speaking interviews are scheduled during the afternoon, commencing at 1:30 p.m. with the last interview scheduled at 6:00 p.m. Candidates will find out their interview time on test day.

We ask you to be prepared to be at the Test Centre for the entire day - until approximately 6:00 p.m.

NOTE: Speaking interviews are usually scheduled on the afternoon of the test day; however, the interview can be scheduled during the seven days prior to or seven days following the test day. If your interview is not on the test day, you will be contacted (via e-mail or phone) to inform you of the date and location of your speaking test.
