General Business Program Time goes quickly; the new semester is just around the corner. Sometimes we cannot believe that we have passed three semesters in the General Business Program so far. Although we have to overcome many tough tasks in order to pass all the courses, we still enjoy the process of learning. We have been here for four years which means our lives have had many changes. We have learned to be independent in studying and living by ourselves which should be a worthy experience in our lives. One of the most important things in doing well in the Business Program is being confident
Another thing is to improve interpersonal skills such as communication skills, cooperative skills and problem solving skills because these skills can increase a team’s cohesiveness at many group projects and keep things running smoothly and help with solving problems properly. Finally, studying hard should be a major element to make an adjustment between ELS and other programs. We always believe if we try our best, we will be successful!!!

Yanting Zhao, who studied at Conestoga College in the Early Childhood Education

" I came to Kitchener, Ontario, Canada on January 5th, 1999. I studied English for a year, then, I went to Nursing Program for almost 2 years. Finally, I found what I really wanted to be. I wanted to be a teacher. A job that I love and enjoy the most. Conestoga has a variety of programs that people can choose from. It's very convenient for the students. The college (not just the international office) provides all kinds of services for students too. (eg, housing, peer host, different workshops...)
International office also provides a lot of fun activities for students as well. It gives students who are from different countries a sense of Canadian cultures.
I completed my program on April 2004. My graduation took place on June 17, 2004. Finally, it was my turn to get on to the stage to have my result for the past years. I had a great graduation night."

"This term I am taking the English program at the Conestoga College. I love it here because I can find a lot of fun when I am studying at school. Firstly, all my teachers are very nice; they are very strict, but they are very patient. Also, the classes are lively because of the teacher's humour. When I was sick last week, I sent emails to tell my teachers my situation. They wrote me back letters very soon and let me calm down. That really helped me get better fast. All my classmates are very friendly. We get along with each other very well. That's why I am enjoying all the group work. There are a lot of activities during each term.. It helps me to improve my English a lot and lean a lot outside of school. I feel this College has a really high quality of teaching.
