- My favourite quotation is “the waste basket is the writer’s best friend” by Isaac Bashevis Singer. It reminds me that no one needs to be perfect right away and that our experiences and insights change through the process. Know that your purpose at college is not to know everything already. Be confident in what you do know, and find resources and people that can support your growth in areas you want to be confident in. Success means something different to everyone; judge your success by your own criteria and realise that success can be perpetual.
