Why do I need a PIN

You will need a 4-digit Library PIN for:

  • Access to online resources from off-campus (prompts for student/client ID number and PIN)
  • Managing your library account (e.g., renewing books online)

How do I get a PIN?


In Person (Doon & Cambridge Campus)

The following will need to visit the Library to get their PIN. The identification required is noted below:

  • New Full-Time Student: Valid Student ID Card
  • Returning Full-Time Student: Valid Student ID Card with current expiry sticker (available from Registrar’s Office) to reactivate PIN
  • Part-Time Day Student: Valid Student ID Card
  • Continuing Education Student: Confirmation of Enrollment Form 
  • Apprentice: Paper-Based Student Card
  • Full-time Staff/Faculty: Staff ID Card 
  • Part-Time Staff/Faculty: Some form of identification containing the Conestoga Client ID number

The following may request their PIN by e-mailing lrccirc@conestogac.on.ca:

  • Students at Stratford, Waterloo, Guelph, Cambridge Centre or Ingersoll
  • Distance Learning Students

Note: Alumni are not eligible to receive a PIN.

Does My PIN Change?

If you are a returning Conestoga student, faculty or staff, your PIN number does not change. However, you do need to update your account annually to use your PIN. This can be done in person or by email depending on your status in the list above.
