About the program

Are you uncertain about the exact career path you would like to follow? If your answer is yes, then the part-time, online Business diploma program is perfect for you as it is designed to expose students to many different disciplines, ensuring diverse career opportunities.

The Business program provides a broad education encompassing all functional areas of business, including business accounting, finance, marketing, sales, operations and human resources management.

Today's world is full of business opportunities; upon completing this program, you will have work-ready skills that will enable you to operate in multiple business departments, return to your family business or start your own business venture. You will also be able to bridge into the third year of the Business Administration - Management program, complete an 8-month post-graduate certificate, or bridge into the second year of the BBA - International Business Management degree program (subject to a 70% program average).

This program is offered in full-time and part-time delivery.

Program information

All courses must be completed within 7 years of acceptance into the program.

Course fees to complete this program total approximately *$9,700.00.

*This is the estimated amount for domestic students and may differ if students take equivalent courses. Fees are paid when registering for each individual course and are subject to change each term.

Admission requirements

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, OR 19 years of age or older.

Note re: admission requirements

  • Students must be able to receive instruction, respond and research in the English language.
  • Applicants holding the McDonald's Management Development Program designation may apply for credit toward this program.

  • Submit a completed Conestoga College Program Application Form.

  • Final selection is made following an assessment of the admission requirements.

Graduate opportunities

Graduates are prepared for careers in small business as well as general administration careers in business, industry and government. The small business emphasis will help potential entrepreneurs evaluate business opportunities.
