********Note: If you are already a CPTN-CPT or have already completed The Art & Science of Personal Training course, you will not need to attend the theory course held in weekend one. Cueing to the music and transitional moves for a variety of fitness class formats will also be taught.

Course Description

The CPTN Group Fitness Leader workshop will provide an opportunity for future fitness leaders to understand, develop and implement the different components of a group workout. This course will facilitate the development of strong teaching skills in areas such as verbal/non verbal communications; the understanding of musicality, cueing, and phrasing; and the creation of choreography. This workshop will also provide an opportunity for personal trainers to be able to transfer their skills in a unique large group setting, where the trainer will be able to plan, teach and organize large groups in a structured environment, for example, teaching in a gym, studio, or weight room.
