Having a Roommate

Maintaining a positive living arrangement

Many residents come to college with a positive outlook towards having a roommate. Usually, this is true for most people in residence but it's important to remember that stress levels have a tendency to increase during certain times of the year (i.e. exams) which can cause patience to thin.

It is important to be aware and appreciate these stressful times as you and your roommate move through the academic year together. By communicating your expectations early on, you can solve problems before they arise and development mutual understanding and trust.
