Conestoga College Residence is proud to be able to offer many various services and facilities in our 525-student building.
Feel free to read up more on what sort of things the Residence has to provide for our students, or maybe you live in Rez already and didn't know about many of the great services that we provide!
Front Desk Services
The Conestoga College Residence is proud to be able to offer quality 24-hour front desk service. Have a question? Need some help? The Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) are always available to help you or re-direct you with any questions you may have about the Residence and the surrounding area.
See the Front Desk to sign out the following items:
- Vacuums, mops, BBQ lighters, brooms, etc.
- The Movie Lounge
- The pool balls and ping-pong paddles
- Board games, playing cards
- Hockey nets
- Access the Hockey Storage Room

Cardio Lounge
Newly added in March 2007, the Cardio Lounge located on the fourth floor offers a great place to exercise and re-energize!
With a flat-screen television, the Cardio Lounge offers two treadmills, an elliptical, stationary bike, yoga mats and yoga balls. Feeling too lazy to make the trek over to the Recreation Centre? This is a great area to get your workout!
Games Room
This is the big hangout in Rez! From the many rez events that are hosted by the Resident Advisors to just meeting new friends, the Games Room is a great area for co-curricular entertainment!
To use the pool table or ping-pong table, just sign out the pool balls/cues and ping-pong paddles at the front desk with your student card!
Kitchen & Patio Lounge
The Conestoga College Residence offers a kitchen lounge area with three stoves & ovens. The kitchen lounge located on the main floor and is a great spot for students to hang out, equipped with a flat-screen television, pool table, tables and couches.
Students are encouraged to prepare their food in the kitchen lounge area.
The patio, adjacent to the kitchen lounge, offers two gas BBQs and picnic tables available to socialize! The patio area is a hotspot for activity during Orientation Week.
Don’t forget to check the kitchen bulletin board regularly for new recipe ideas and great cooking tips.
Study Lounges
There are common areas available for use by all residents and their guests. Each lounge offers different furnishings to suit varying tastes. Take some time to explore your new home and see what it has to offer. With several study lounges available in Residence, there's no place where anyone can't study!
Study lounges are equipped with tables and chairs as well as Internet access for laptop computers.
If an RA finds you studying in a lounge at a given time, you can score 25 Res Points!
Laundry Room
The washing machines and dryers located in the basement laundry room are operated through a keycard activated system. The Laundry Room is open 24/7 for use at any time.
The laundry machine services are operated through Harco . For questions or concerns regarding any problems with your laundry keycard or for assistance with the machines, please see the Front Desk or contact Harco directly at 1-800-387-9503.
Parking
There are plenty of parking spaces available to Residents, assuming they inform Front Desk of their vehcile information. There is a fee for parking your vehicle as a resident or as a guest, please make sure to review the Residence Parking Policy for full details.
In order to control the Residence lot, everyone who does not have a Residence or guest pass will receive a ticket. Security will not withdraw tickets for improperly displaying your permit.
Garbage/Recycling
Students are responsible for removing their own garbage and recycling from their suite. The garbage compactor is located adjacent to the Residence. Please be kind to the environment and recycle the following: plastic bottles, glass bottles, magazines and books, newspapers and food cans.
Photocopying/Fax
There is a photocopier located at the Front Desk, photocopying, fax and printing services are available, please check with the staff for up to date rates for these services. The copier is for black and white copies only and the Residence does not photocopy textbooks.
