Be Part of the Discussion

Everyone needs inspiration, encouragement, and the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas with others. Be Part of the Discussion is designed to provide you with these opportunities in a fun and casual venue outside of the classroom.

At the beginning of each discussion, you will view a TEDTalk delivered by passionate keynote speakers on topics like community, leadership, diversity, following your passion, personal wellness etc. Following each TEDTalk, you will have the chance to share your thoughts about the video and discuss how students can get involved in making their communities an even better place!

What is TED?

TED.com is a nonprofit organization that is devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, and offers free-to-view videos that show speeches from the world's most inspired thinkers. Be Part of the Discussion uses these videos as ways of creating discussions that will result in action.
