Conestoga Acres (CA) is a grassroots garden collaborative between students, staff and faculty, as well as the external community. The goal is to promote a holistic approach to healthy food choices, where members of the Conestoga community share and learn about sustainable gardening and food production. We are seeking volunteers to help operate the garden, as well as to coordinate operations via the CA Committee. Gardeners need no experience, but should be prepared to get their hands dirty. Those interested in the committee need not participate in physical gardening, but it certainly helps. Conestoga Acres Committee Positions(pdf)

Student Advisory Committee - Now Recruiting!
The First Generation Student Initiative is designed for students who are the first in their family (besides a sibling) to attend college, university or an apprenticeship program to provide them with a unique chance to be a successful leader, to ensure post-secondary success and to help in achieving goals. There are two reasons for offering this project: to learn about what the journey is like to attend college for first generation students, and to provide individualized and tailored support along the way if/when needed (i.e. personalized advice, workshops on important issues, newsletters, etc.).
