Wood Manufacturing Council

The Council's mandate is to plan, develop and implement human resources strategies that support the long-term growth and competitiveness of Canada's advanced wood products manufacturing industry and meet the developmental needs of its workforce.

The WMC collaborates with Conestoga to offer annual high school teacher information days to showcase the opportunities for work and education being delivered at the Woodworking Centre of Ontario.

Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry

The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources protects Ontario's biodiversity while promoting economic opportunities in the resource sector. It is also responsible for regulating the forestry industry and is a proponent of creating a responsible and highly-trained workforce within the wood manufacturing industry.

The Ministry partners with Conestoga to provide planning and financial support to the student of the Woodworking Centre of Ontario.

Woodlinks

This industry-driven program is offered to secondary school students to help them make a smooth transition into post-secondary woodworking programs.

Woodlinks brings together industry partners, employers, educators and government to the Woodworking Centre of Ontario to promote skills development and employment within this growing sector.

FS Tool Corporation

The FS Tool Corporation is a leading manufacturer of industrial cutting tools for the woodworking, plastics and non-ferrous industries.

FS Tool Corp. is based in Ontario and generously gives back to its community by supplying our students with awards, scholarship and free tooling to help them reach their full potential during their studies at Conestoga.

Rampa-Tec Inc.

Rampa-Tec Inc. is a Germany-based hardware production company that generously supports Conestoga's woodworking students with scholarships, awards and hardware to help them meet the demands of their programs and to prepare them for the industrial workforce.
