Addressing the skilled labour shortage

Attracting new entrants into trades education and training programs is the first step towards addressing Ontario’s skilled trades talent shortage. As skilled labour shortages become increasingly widespread across the province, Conestoga is focused on modernizing apprenticeship and skilled trades training by consolidating and expanding the college’s full complement of trades programs at a single campus. This new, modern facility will help raise the profile of the skilled trades and attract a broader, more diverse student population.

Industry collaboration & corporate partnerships

Conestoga is growing to keep pace with student, industry and community expectations. We collaborate with community leaders and industry professionals to build partnerships that support the success of our students and communities.

Investing in trades & apprenticeship

This high-profile campus will draw significant attention to skilled trades training, attracting additional students and establishing both the college and our region as leaders in addressing Ontario’s skilled trades workforce needs.

We invite our partners and friends to join us by making an investment in the Conestoga Skilled Trades Campus. Your gift can take the form of cash, equipment, tools and materials, scholarships and student awards or other in-kind support.
