Program description - September 2022
This pilot training program is the only collaborative diploma program that offers you a choice between flying airplanes at Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre or flying helicopters at Great Lakes Helicopter. Through pilot training at one of the flight centres and classes at Conestoga College, you can complete the Aviation - General Arts and Science diploma in only two years as well as the pilot training to allow you to undertake the Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence testing.
Note:
- This is a highly competitive program. Apply by February 1 (for September). Please read the Oversubscribed Programs information on our Admission Information web page.
- Students living outside of Ontario are not eligible to apply.

Tuition and fee details for the 2021-2022 year are listed below. Books and supplies are additional. Tuition and fee details for terms starting September 2022 and later will be available Spring 2022.
Please be advised: Training fees for Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre and Great Lakes Helicopter are in addition to Conestoga College tuition fees. Over a two-year period, Waterloo Wellington Flight Centre training fees total approximately $73,000, and start at $56,000 for Great Lakes Helicopter. Fees could increase depending on the type of aircraft or the number of hours to complete program levels.
