Data Analytics

SQL and Data Analysis

Description:

Identification of relevant metric points and how to gather, manipulate, format, and present data as valuable information to the end-user is essential to modern business operations. This course will provide students with the opportunity to perform data analysis using SQL at an intermediate level with an emphasis on enterprise and open-source SQL systems. Students will explore the structure of databases, schemas and relations, data tables and how to leverage SQL to extract, load and transform data in relation to business-driven results that support decision-making.

Project Management

Description:

Project management has become central to the operations of any organization. This course focuses on the general principles of project management as well as Agile Project Management and its methodologies. This course takes a holistic, integrated approach to managing projects, exploring both technical and managerial challenges. Students will apply skills gathered from examining real-world cases into simulated projects done in the classroom. This course will help prepare students to write the Project Management Institute (PMI) exams to become a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

Diagnostic analysis takes the insights found from descriptive analytics and drills down to find the causes of those outcomes.
