Program description - January 2025

Quality improvement and safety management play a key role in enhancing staff and patient safety and the positive healthcare delivery experience. Conestoga’s innovative program in Health Care Quality Improvement and Safety Management will allow you to develop a skillset in leading quality improvement and patient safety activities in a healthcare setting. You will learn to apply project management and lean methodologies to effectively lead the planning, implementation, management, and evaluation of quality improvement projects within clinical and operational programs. By joining a growing field of quality improvement and safety management, you will become an important member of the healthcare team supporting continuous improvement culture and directly contributing to enhancing quality care and patient safety.

Financial assistance

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a needs-based program designed to help eligible Ontario students cover the cost of post-secondary education. Funded by the federal and provincial governments, OSAP is intended to promote equality of opportunity for post-secondary studies through direct financial assistance (grants and loans) for educational costs and living expenses. The amount of funding you are eligible for depends on your program, course load, educational and living expenses, and financial situation.
