Program descriptionPower Engineering 3rd class will expand your practical knowledge of boiler-related topics and support knowledge and skills development in the operations of a power plant. This program is designed to train you in the safe and efficient operation of industrial boilers and auxiliary equipment typically used for heating and/or power applications. Subjects of instruction will follow the Standardized Power Engineers Examination Committee (SOPEEC) syllabus and prepare you to write the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) examinations for 3rd class certification.
The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a needs-based program designed to help Ontario students cover the cost of post-secondary education. Funded by the federal and provincial governments, OSAP is intended to promote equality of opportunity for post-secondary studies through direct financial assistance for educational costs and living expenses. These interest-free loans are intended to supplement your financial resources and those of your family. The majority of students apply for loan assistance via the OSAP website.
