Careers - September 2022

Graduates find employment in the public sector (i.e. municipal community service departments, school boards, continuum of care facilities for seniors and special populations), commercial sector (i.e. outdoor education and recreation facilities, entertainment venues, travel and tourism agencies), and the not-for-profit sector (i.e. YMCA, YWCA, United Way, Big Brothers, Big Sisters). In addition, graduates have advanced standing opportunities toward degree completion in the Bachelor of Early Learning Program Development at Conestoga College. Graduates of the program will be considered for admission in the Bachelor of Arts in Recreation and Leisure Studies at University of Waterloo and the Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies at Brock University.

On average, 86% of graduates from the last three years (2017 to 2019) found employment within six months of graduation.
