This funded program is tuition-free. The first step in the application process is to attend an information session where you'll receive details about the program and next steps.

Information sessions are held at the Waterloo Roofing Centre in room 107, from 12-1 p.m. on:

Program description - June 2023

There are so many opportunities for everyone in the skilled trades but it can be hard to know where to start. This unique, fully-funded, try-a-trade program will give you the opportunity to explore and prepare for different careers in construction.

In this program, you will spend days in the shop developing hands-on skills in both masonry and carpentry. In addition, you will be able to develop an understanding of trade-specific academic, job search and employment skills.
