Purchase parking

Monthly, term, annual, and apprenticeship parking permits can be purchased in the Parking Portal. 

Sign in to the Parking Portal using your Conestoga College network ID. 

How to purchase a parking permit

1. Visit https://conestoga.aimsparking.com/.
   
2. Log in using your Conestoga College network ID.
   
3. Select Order Parking.
   
4. Choose the parking permit that fits your onsite activity.
   
5. Select the campus (if applicable).
   
6. Add information for up to two vehicles.
   
7. Select Add to Cart.
   
8. Confirm your email address as this is where your receipt will be sent. If correct, select Continue.
   
9. Follow the instructions on the screen for payment.
   

Hourly or daily parking is purchased easily online via the Honk Contactless Parking system (payable with Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit or PayPal). 

Once you have accessed Honk (via web browser or app) sign up to register your vehicle and purchase parking. Ensure you follow the account verification steps required by HonkMobile. 

The Honk App and Browser should be able to recognize your location if location sharing permissions are enabled on your device. If you do not allow location permissions for Honk, you will need to know the zone number of the parking lot you are in. The zone will be displayed on Honk signage in each lot. 

A QR code sign is stationed at campus entrances and in the parking lots to provide an opportunity to purchase daily or hourly pass with no app download required. 

Web browser instructions

1. Visit https://parking.honkmobile.com/parking and sign in.
   
2. Search address of Campus or use Zone ID (if known).
   
3. Select one hour, two hours, or daily max.
   
4. Confirm licence plate.
   
5. Complete payment.
   

Honk Mobile app instructions

1. Open the Honk Mobile app (App Store or Google Play) and log in.
   
2. Select Zone ID or address.
   
3. Select one hour, two hours, or daily max.
   
4. Confirm licence plate.
   
5. Complete payment.

1. Scan visitor parking QR code.
   
2. Enter licence plate.
   
3. Select one hour, two hours, or daily max.
   
4. Complete payment.
   

MultiPack parking is purchased easily online via the Honk Contactless Parking system (payable with Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit or PayPal). 

Once you have accessed Honk (via web browser or app) sign up to register your vehicle and purchase parking. Ensure you follow the account verification steps required by HonkMobile. 

Multipacks provide a discount rate for the purchase of 10 daily passes as a bundle, to be used as needed. MultiPacks expire (2) two years after the purchase date. No refunds are given for unused passes. 

How to purchase a MultiPack

You will need to sign up for a HonkMobile account to purchase a MultiPack. 

Web browser instructions

1. Visit https://parking.honkmobile.com/parking.
2. Change the Address Search field option to Zone ID (right-hand side using the drop down).
3. Search “CONESTOGAMULTI” in the Zone ID.
   
4. Under "Long-Term Parking," the 10 Passes MultiPack will appear as an option to purchase. Select the 10 Passes rate which will lead you to complete the purchase.

Honk Mobile app instructions

1. Open Honk Mobile app and log in.
2. Select Enter Zone ID (on the top).
3. Search "CONESTOGAMULTI" in the Zone ID.
4. Scroll to "Long-Term Parking" and select "see more".
5. The 10 Passes Multipack will appear as an option to purchase. Select the 10 Passes rate which will lead you to complete the purchase.

How to redeem your MultiPack passes

To use your MultiPack passes, you must redeem one day off your MultiPack each time you park at a Conestoga College campus. Each day redeemed is valid until 4 p.m. 

If you travel between campuses, you are only required to redeem one pass at the start of your day. Your pass will be valid at all campuses you travel to. 

1. Open the HonkMobile app or log in to your HonkMobile account in a web browser. Your active MultiPack will be displayed on the front page under "Active Sessions."
2. Select "Enter Zone ID" under "Pay for Parking." Enter in the MultiPack zone. The zone number is CONESTOGAMULTI.
3. Select your current MultiPack and select "redeem a pass" (your remaining passes will be displayed at the top of the screen).
4. Select MultiPack redemption rate ($0.00).
5. Adjust your vehicle if necessary and select "park for free."
6. Confirm your licence plate and session details.

Input the wrong licence plate?

You have up to 10 minutes from redeeming a pass to change the vehicle attached to the parking session. You can change the licence plate on the "session complete" page. 

Kitchener - Downtown campus employees who want to park in the campus parking garage must: 

1. have a valid term or annual parking permit for another campus (monthly is not available at this campus). This ensures you have access to all other campuses that use licence plate recognition software.
2. have a parking garage access card to enter and exit the gated lower lot. To receive an access card, please email Parking Services after purchasing a permit.

Daily parking: 

• is not available through HonkMobile.
• is available 6 a.m to midnight in the upper levels of the connected parking garage through a ticket system.
• is available through the City of Kitchener surface lots and garages.

Department access card

Departments with various employees working infrequently onsite at the Kitchener - Downtown campus may request a departmental floater card. To receive a card, the department manager should email Parking Services. 

• If you are using an alternate vehicle to park at a Conestoga site, such as a new or temporary vehicle, ensure it is registered to avoid a parking ticket.
• The Parking Portal allows an account holder to register two vehicles. You are permitted to park one vehicle on campus at a time.
  
• You can update your vehicle information any time by logging in to the Parking Portal and selecting the vehicle tab to register a new vehicle or replace a current vehicle.
• If you do not see your vehicle model in the pre-populated drop-down list when registering your car, select the 'other' option. Ensure your licence plate information is correct.
• You cannot register a vehicle that is registered on another user's account.

• Motorcycles count as one of the two vehicles you are allowed to have registered to your parking permit. There is no special permit or sticker required in addition to, a valid parking permit, to park a motorcycle.
• Motorcycles are permitted to park in regular parking spaces or on the motorcycle pad (available at the Kitchener - Doon and Cambridge - Fountain Street campuses), with a valid parking permit.
• Ebikes with no government issued licence plates are permitted to park on the motorcycle pad or parking near the bike racks.
• Ebikes parked at a bike rack are not to block entrance ways, pathways, or access to the bike rack for other users.
• Ebikes parked on Conestoga College property are not permitted to charge using Conestoga College external or internal outlets.

• If term or monthly permits are sold out at a campus, select "Add to waitlist" in the Parking Portal. You will be notified by email if a permit becomes available. You will have two days to claim your waitlist spot from the date your waitlist email is received.
• In the meantime, if a spot is available, please purchase daily parking through HonkMobile.

• Accessible parking is available at all campuses. View Find your campus site plan to locate designated areas.
• Accessible parking spaces are designated at each campus with a provincial parking permit. You must purchase a parking pass for your campus to be able to park on campus.
• Please contact Parking Services for assistance.

• Monthly, term and annual parking permits are non-transferable.
• Upon request, spring term permits are refundable on a pro-rated basis until July 31, 2024.
• Upon request, winter term permits are refundable on a pro-rated basis until March 31, 2024.
• Upon request, an annual permit is refundable on a pro-rated basis until July 31, 2024.
