Canadian Institute for Seniors Care

The Canadian Institute for Seniors Care focuses on education, workforce development and applied research to develop highly qualified personnel to improve the quality of life and care for Canada’s growing population of seniors.

The Centre is led by the CIHR/Schlegel Industrial Research Chair for Colleges (IRCC) in Seniors Care. This research chair is funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) in partnership with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Conestoga College and Schlegel Villages.
