Accept your offer!
Make it official, view and confirm your offer at ontariocolleges.ca before the deadline on your offer letter.
If your offer is conditional, you can still accept. Before your program starts, you’ll need to meet certain requirements or provide certain documents.
We look forward to seeing you on campus!
Ontario CollegesUnderstanding your offer
Conditional offers
If you have received a conditional offer, conditions need to be met by a certain date. Some examples of conditions can include submitting final transcripts, achieving a specific grade in a required course, having a minimum final average, or providing English language requirements.
When you receive a conditional offer, your spot in the program is reserved. We will only rescind an offer if you fail to meet the conditions before your program starts (or the deadline specified on your acceptance letter).
Wait list offers
Wait lists are maintained when all the available seats in a program are filled.
If you receive a wait list offer, please accept it by the deadline stated in your offer letter. To do so, log in to the Student Portal using your 7-digit student number (found on your acceptance letter) and date of birth. Navigate to the Admissions Info tab and select Wait list Confirmation. Once you submit your wait list confirmation, the offer will no longer appear on the portal, and you will receive a confirmation email.
Advanced standing offers
If you receive an advanced standing offer, you have received credit for courses previously taken in a related field of study. Please discuss the details of your advanced standing offer with your program contact. You can find their contact information on your program page.
Expired offers
If your offer has expired, you can contact admissions to determine if seats are still available in the program. If there isn't room in the program, ask to be placed on the wait list.
Accepting your offer
- View and accept your offer on Ontario Colleges.
- The deadline to confirm your offer is listed on your offer letter and on Ontario Colleges.
Accepting more than one offer
You can only accept one offer at a time. After you've accepted an offer, you can still accept a different offer after one business day. Once you accept a different offer, OCAS will cancel your previous acceptance and inform other colleges you have chosen Conestoga.
You can accept a wait list offer to one or more programs and confirm an offer to one additional program.
Alternate offers
If you do not meet the admission requirements for the program of your choice, you may receive an alternate offer for another program. Your offer letter will outline applicable conditions and your confirmation deadline.
Oversubscribed program offers
Oversubscribed programs are highly competitive, with limited spots. If you are accepted to an oversubscribed program and wish to secure your place, make sure you:
- confirm your offer on Ontario Colleges
- submit outstanding transcripts
- pay your deposit and full tuition by the payment due date
If you are applying for OSAP, the average application takes 6 to 8 weeks to process. You'll need your OSAP funding in place before your tuition is due, so it's best to apply as early as possible.
