Fuel your future with Conestoga's Mechanical Techniques - Gas and Sheet Metal certificate.

If you're a high school graduate looking to break into the mechanical construction trades, Conestoga's one-year Mechanical Techniques - Gas and Sheet Metal certificate offers a powerful combination of skills to launch your career. This unique Ontario College program prepares you to earn your Gas Technician (G3) license while also completing the in-school training for the Residential (Low Rise) Sheet Metal Installer (308R) apprenticeship.

You'll gain hands-on experience in gas equipment installation, service and maintenance, along with residential sheet metal work for new builds and retrofits. Training includes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, setting you up for success in the HVAC industry and beyond. Graduates may qualify to write the TSSA Gas Technician 3 Certification Exam and receive exemption from in-school training for the Residential (Low Rise) Sheet Metal Installer (Apprenticeship).
