Become a marketing and communications strategist/visual-thinking creative specialist in Conestoga's two-year diploma in Advertising & Marketing Communications program. We are a rewarding, cross-disciplinary program that equips you to be a creative thinker, with the ability to engage with on-trend brands, craft strategic marketing campaigns through social platforms, and to have the confidence and skills that the industry demands. Taught by passionate, award-winning faculty, you will learn the essential aspects of marketing research, integrated marketing campaigns, sales strategies, social media marketing, brand development, UI/UX design, copywriting, public relations and video production. You will also discover how to pitch a client, manage a marketing budget, perform campaign scheduling and deliver upon tight deadlines, as you work towards a career in the field. A 7-week field placement and live-client capstone project will better prepare you for the industry. Once ready, you will graduate from the program with an impressive portfolio, a laptop full of industry contacts and a supportive industry network ready to assist you. Program highlights include learning from award-winning industry professionals, working directly with live clients on projects, frequent guest speakers and agency tours, and valuable industry-based field placements.
