Program description - September 2027
Build your future in accounting with Conestoga's Business - Accounting diploma.
If you're a high school graduate with an interest in numbers and a goal to start a career in accounting or finance, this two-year diploma program provides a strong foundation for success. The program prepares you for entry-level accounting roles while offering opportunities to continue your studies and advance your career.
You'll gain hands-on experience using industry-standard accounting software in modern labs while applying key concepts in financial accounting, taxation and business practices. Guided by industry-connected faculty, you'll develop the practical skills and knowledge employers value.
The program builds your understanding of core business and accounting principles, preparing you to contribute effectively in a variety of organizational settings.
Take the next step: Graduates can pursue advanced standing in the Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) - Accounting, Audit and Information Technology degree, creating a pathway to the CPA designation.
Graduates may also pursue the Registered Professional Accountant (RPA) designation through additional courses and successful completion of the Mandatory Professional Examination (MPE).
