Program description - September 2024

Prepare yourself for an exciting career as a professional pilot. The current unprecedented demand and projected growth in the aviation industry offers numerous opportunities to excel post-graduation. Our two-year Commercial Flight Operations program allows you to enter the industry quickly with the necessary skills to be successful. The modern flight simulators will provide you with an opportunity for practical training through advanced avionics and realistic emergency scenarios in a variety of weather conditions. You will have the option to concurrently complete flight training which qualifies you to apply for Canadian Commercial Pilot License endorsed with a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating. Students with a Private Pilot License can apply for credit transfers for the related groundschool courses. If you choose to work as a pilot post-graduation, you will need to complete flight training at an accredited Flight Training Unit who will grant the Transport Canada licenses upon completion and required examination.

  • This is a highly competitive program. Apply by February 1 (for September). Please read the Oversubscribed Programs information on our Admission Information web page.
