Program description - September 2024
Conestoga's two-year diploma program in Game - Design can help you turn your passion for gaming into a rewarding career. You will learn how to create games, apps, and simulations for use in the games industry, entertainment, the education field, and beyond. Conestoga's Game - Design program provides you with access to industry-standard software and technology, and exposure to some of Canada's fastest growing tech companies. Taught by faculty with extensive experience in the game world, this program is designed to provide you with a strong set of skills and knowledge for game design, gameplay programming, and employment across various parts of the production pipeline. Through individual and collaborative projects, the program offers you the opportunity to build a portfolio of original work, and a field placement to help you take your first steps into the burgeoning game industry.
