Admission procedures
- Applicants will be required to write the Conestoga English Language Assessment and Placement (CELAP) test to determine the correct program level. The test registration link is provided in the admissions Offer Letter and there is a $95 + HST registration fee.
- Applicants with an approved alternative placement certificate may submit it as proof of English language proficiency. Please refer to English language requirements for details.
Program requirements
- To be eligible to graduate from the program, you must complete six Level 2 courses. This includes the four core language courses, Student Success for Higher Learning (LIBS1275), and an additional elective course option.
- Program certificates are not offered to students who complete Level 1 only.
- If your Term Weighted Average is below 65%, you will be discontinued from the program for one term.
- Students advancing to the next level must retake any failed courses, resulting in a mixed-level timetable.
