This program is designed to meet the educational requirements for certification, through examination, as a Registered Massage Therapist by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, which is a necessary prerequisite to entering practice. Graduates are prepared to work in a variety of practice settings with a focus on wellness-oriented treatment. Athletes, people with musculoskeletal injuries, pregnancy, infants, seniors, and those challenged by a variety of medical conditions like cancer, multiple sclerosis, and diabetes would benefit from the treatments provided by a Registered Massage Therapist .
