Program description - September 2024

This program prepares graduates for rewarding careers in the manufacturing industry in the area of mechanical repairs and maintenance. It creates exciting hands-on and theoretical learning for the students to acquire technical skills, knowledge and attitudes fundamental to successful employment in the manufacturing industry. The program supports the acquisition of strong trade-related skills including technical documentation and AutoCAD, advanced health and safety, as well as the foundational technical skills needed for maintenance operations. This program covers all the learning outcomes for Levels 1 and 2 of the related apprenticeship program in Ontario.
