| Additional Information |
My primary interests lay in the development of the foundational skills required for safe nursing practice. Although most of my credentialing is related to advance nursing practice, I believe it is the basic principles of nursing care, evidence based practice and independent/autonomous practice at the point of care that is most important for safe patient outcomes. My goal as a nurse educator, across all levels of the BScN program, is to facilitate the development of an independent nursing voice and the confidence to act as a patient advocate, promoting safety and quality outcomes. |
