Program description - September 2023

There are so many opportunities for everyone in the skilled trades, but it can be hard to know where to start. This unique, fully-funded, Try A Trade program will give you the opportunity to explore the skilled trade of cabinetmaker, which is someone who specializes in creating wooden furniture, and building and installing cabinets and architectural millwork such as wall panels, moldings, and stairs.

In this program, you will spend days in the shop developing hands-on skills in one of the most advanced woodworking training facilities in North America. In addition, you will be able to develop an understanding of trade-specific academic, job search and employment skills.
