Conestoga Skilled Trades Campus (CSTC)
To address the province’s critical need for skilled workers, Conestoga's Skilled Trades Campus delivers apprenticeship and post-secondary programs in the industrial/manufacturing and construction trades.
Opened in fall 2022 and located on more than 40 acres next to highway 401, the first phase of this campus features a 322,000 sq ft building with more than 150,000 sq ft of shops and labs, designed and equipped to meet the unique requirements of trades education and training.
Addressing the skilled labour shortage
Attracting new entrants into trades education and training programs is the first step towards addressing Ontario’s skilled trades talent shortage. As skilled labour shortages become increasingly widespread across the province, Conestoga is focused on modernizing apprenticeship and skilled trades training by consolidating and expanding the college’s full complement of trades programs at a single campus. This new, modern facility will help raise the profile of the skilled trades and attract a broader, more diverse student population.
