Pharmacy Technicians play a central role in the healthcare system, supporting pharmacists in the efficient and safe delivery of medications to patients. As a pharmacy technician, individuals can pursue rewarding careers in various settings, including retail pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, long term care facilities, compounding pharmacies, home healthcare services, and pharmacy informatics. As per Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP) requirements, students must successfully complete the Pharmacy Technician Program within 4 years of admission.
