Prepare for a future in healthcare with Conestoga's Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees.

Are you a high school graduate aiming for a career in healthcare? Conestoga's Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees is your stepping stone to high-demand programs.

This two-term program offers a strong academic foundation and hands-on learning to help you succeed in competitive health sciences programs and build a rewarding career in public health, clinical care or medical research.

You'll explore key topics in biology, chemistry and health sciences while developing the study skills and confidence needed for success at the college level. Whether you plan to pursue an advanced diploma or a degree, this pathway boosts your eligibility and opens doors to a variety of programs in the health sciences, including:

Advanced diploma programs

  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Massage Therapy
  • Medical Laboratory Sciences
  • Paramedic
  • Respiratory Therapy

Degree programs

  • Bachelor of Applied Biotechnology (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Environmental Public Health (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Science - Nursing (Honours)

Note:

  • Note for domestic students: Upon successful completion of the Pre-Health Sciences program, students may apply to Conestoga College's School of Health Sciences advanced diploma or degree programs (Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Applied Health Information Science degree, etc.), as well as to the health sciences diploma programs.
  • Note for international students: the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Advanced Diplomas and Degrees is a pathway for international students interested in studying in either the Bachelor of Applied Biotechnology degree or the Bachelor of Environmental Public Health degree ONLY. Students interested in studying in a health science-related two-year diploma program should apply to the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas. Please check the International Program Listing to confirm program availability. Not all programs are available to international students.
