Graduates find employment in the public sector (i.e., parks and recreation or community services departments), commercial sector (i.e., outdoor education centres, recreation facilities, entertainment venues, travel and tourism agencies, retirement and nursing homes), and the not-for-profit sector (i.e., YMCA, YWCA, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, neighbourhood associations). In addition, graduates have advanced standing opportunities toward degree completion in the Bachelor of Early Learning Program Development at Conestoga College. Graduates of the program will be considered for admission in the Bachelor of Arts in Recreation and Leisure Studies at University of Waterloo and the Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure Studies at Brock University.

On average, 87% of graduates from the last three years (2019 to 2021) found employment within six months of graduation.
