Program description - January 2025
The Animation industry is growing in Canada and internationally, and there is a demand for highlyskilled animation professionals. This two-year credential will prepare you for animation opportunities in the fields of TV, film, game, and online production. Blending your creative talents with your enhanced skills in drawing, animation and production techniques, along with strong storytelling skills, you will create a variety of 2D and 3D animations, and develop a stronganimation-focused portfolio. A critical component of Conestoga's Animation program is understanding the production pipeline and developing the skills needed to take an animation project from concept to completion. You will work in project-based learning environments and will create work to contribute to your portfolio.
